Herr Dang in Reutlingen

Great restaurant. They also go to great lengths to take away and the food is always fresh and very, very tasty.

I would recommend the bowl, super light but very filling!

The shop is absolutely no longer recommended - attention, some people prepare food without a face mask! On the phone they said 1 hour pick-up time - we were there at 7.40 p.m. - at 8.15 p.m. I left, exasperated - without food. No excuse nothing- with me there were at least 10 other customers in the restaurant, some of whom waited 45 minutes and then still waited- kitchen and floor looked dirty- never again and then insisted on cash since Corona- no card payment possible- black money?

It's a shame that 0 stars cannot be awarded. Had ordered at 6:40 pm, should come 40 minutes later for collection. We were there 50 minutes later, there were 15 people in front of us who had all been waiting for their food for up to an hour. After several inquiries, when we got the answer several times that it was about to be finished, it was already after 8 p.m. With the current curfew, it is not acceptable to wait here any longer. We then asked again how long it would take, but then only got the answer (which we had been getting for almost an hour now) that it would be finished soon. Several people just left with us, just like us, without their ordered food. This service is an absolute cheek. We will certainly never come back! The lockdown has been going on for several weeks now, you should think that in the meantime you could expect good service. Nevertheless, more and more orders are being accepted here, although it is clear from the outset that not all of them can be finished by 8 p.m. It's a shame that you can't expect good service here. Wait more than 1.5 hours for the fact that you then have to go empty-handed because the person who takes the orders probably cannot or does not want to assess what can be done in the remaining time. 1 star is actually too much for that.

Reservation with more than 1 hour delay, without information about it. Then the sushi was puked in 2 minutes after repeated requests. Very unfriendly service, food okay, service very bad. Not recommended ... Big disappointments

Picked up food: tasteless noodles, tasteless salad sauce, nasi goreng with beef, hardly any beef. Bottom of the plastic containers arched upwards, so that the whole thing looks like more. Not recommended.

The food was delicious, very high quality Asian dishes! The drinks menu was a bit thin for my taste. Likewise the dessert menu, the selection was very poor

Nice location. With regard to the Corona period, you can order take-away food there. The food is really nicely presented and the taste is very good. There is something for every taste. Can definitely be recommended. Thumbs up.

RESERVED AND NOT GET A PLACE. We were there on a Thursday, had reserved a week in advance. In front of the restaurant there was a line of people who had all reserved. On request why you have to stand in line after reservation with min. 30 people in front of you only said "you just have to wait" If you don't want to wait an hour in front of the restaurant or go home without eating, you should reserve directly at a better restaurant. We are then two streets away in the Lotus restaurant. Great food and friendly service are the way to win customers over.

Nicely decorated restaurant, lots of choice and delicious sushi. My only criticism or suggestion for improvement would be that the waitress should wear the masks correctly. Several of the noses 👃 were free and one waiter simply didn't have any.

The food was great. Only the menus should be renewed. They don't go with the great restaurant and the delicious food.

I recommend this restaurant. The food was good as was the ambience. At first you didn't have to wait long for the waiter. But towards the end we had to wait half an hour for payment. The service is very nice and friendly. The card reader was unfortunately defective. The salad portions were a bit too much, and a little dry sauce would be very appropriate. For the food that you can see in the photos we paid around 50 €. The price / performance ratio is definitely good.

We wanted to eat here on Saturday and made an extra reservation. When we arrived we had to wait a short while until something was available, and then had to sit outside (in the cold) because everything inside was full, despite a reservation. When we were still not served after 20 minutes (didn't even get a card) we left the restaurant. Incredibly bad service !! We weren't the only guests there who felt that way ...

This restaurant is suuuuuper! It is small and fine and tastes very good. Price performance ratio is also optimal and the owner and the service are simply great! It is definitely worth it

It tastes really delicious at Mr. Dang. The Vietnamese cuisine is just fantastic. Whether freshly cooked or freshly prepared sushi, it is a treat for the palate! Since it is well attended, it is advisable to order a table by phone. Very nice wait staff, there are two parking garages nearby.

We ordered tofu curry with coconut sauce. It was really sweet. And half of the plate was salad. Then a vegetable soup with glass noodles which tasted of "egg" for some reason. The vegetables very so huge and not cooked at all. One needs strong teeth to bite those huge raw carrot pieces. The fried sushi rolls was the only decent dish.

The food was mediocre and not value for money. The food for the prices asked was below average in terms of taste: not exactly fresh, just as tasty, just plain neutral. It is a bit strange, however, that card payments have not been possible for almost a year: "due to technical problems"! So I had to go to the bank. For me it was definitely the last visit.

The old lady service staff tried to throw me out of my table while I am not done eating. I am sure she had the guts to do that because we have the same color or race.Here comes the other staff, a guy indirectly doing the same because he was trying to give me my bill without asking for it so I raised my voice and told the guy “I am not done eating.I am a customer here,do not do that to me or else I will call the police.” The guy apologized for like 3 times :-P after that.Before this awful experience, I dined at Herr Dang for 3X or so.Very poor service and rude staff(specially the old lady).

low quality of products and service.

We have eaten at Mr. Dang several times and are generally very satisfied. The waiters are attentive and friendly. The last time I visited my meal was cold, which the waiter accepted without hesitation and brought me a replacement within a few minutes. The food is good and the prices reasonable for the ambience and taste. It is advisable to reserve in advance as it gets very crowded.

Just great food and the value for money is right. Nice staff, fast preparation, a great selection, fresh ingredients and a nice location make the whole thing a great restaurant. Everything from sushi and appetizers to entrees is fresh and flavorful. Rarely eaten so well, thank you!

If u want to eat something different, but at the same time, delicious, veggi or not, this is ur place!! The service are fast and the local is really nice! And try the Teas! They're are just amazing!

The service was very slow. My food arrived after others were finished with their food. Although they offered a refund which was very nice of them.

Almost a regular here now. Awesome food and buzzing atmosphere. The selection of curries is really nice. Although sushibis not there speciality, that too is top notch. The ratio of fish to rice served here is quite satisfying. Must eat place in reutlingen.

One the worst eating experiences ever!! Bad Service as well.

Nice place, but service was only so-so. The restaurant is fairly big, great interior, many tables and great atmosphere. In the beginning there was even authentic Vietnamese music playing, later they played Justin Bieber non stop... that was odd. Our waitress was kind of harsh, made no eye contact whatsoever and wasn’t friendly at all. No smile or anything. She seemed annoyed about work. I ordered summer rolls (goi cuon with chicken) for appetizers and had to pick out the steamed chicken. For some reason it just tasted terrible. I couldn’t eat it. Not sure if it was bad or what it was, but I almost puked when I chewed on it, because it had such an awful taste to it. As my main dish I ate the sot curry with chicken. This was real good. Very creamy, the veggies were perfect and the rice was good.

The food is okay and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy. Those are the good points. A nightmare is the service and the management of Herr Dang. Long waiting times combined with unfriendly service are the special mixture of Herr Dang. The waitress might be a good prison officer, for customer care she wasn’t qualified at all. We got our noodle salad without noodles. This is already bad, but annoying was her inspection of the noodle salad after our complain. The ordered chicken soup came as prawn soup, didn’t interest the waitress at all. Self-explanatory no tip for this bad performance.

First visit was totally amazing but services and food got really low after first visit. Everyone from our friends had belly pain. We had to wait 20 minutes then finally we got a menu card. We were watching confused waitress how they are searching over whole restaurant who ordered prepared food. Preparation took really long and they brought us only half ordered meals. So two of us were eating and next two others had to watch them because their food still weren't prepared - really bad planning. After they finished eating the rest of our table finally got their food. Cards are not acceptable (never had that problem anywhere). I guess we gave to Herr Dang 4 chances and 3 of those 4 visits were really terrible.

I lost 5 years of my life here from waiting.... heilandsack
